The current publication "Women of the Year 2024/25 – Learning from the best for your own career", published by herCAREER, Europe's leading career and networking platform for women, portrays remarkable "Women of the Year" who have made a name for themselves through bold ideas as well as their expertise, experience and passion – women like Ellen Wagner. She owes her appointment as "Woman of the Year" not only to her entrepreneurial success, but also to her social and societal commitment at various levels.

The jury of the "German Design Council" has honoured the "SMART FLEX", a new development from Wagner's QuickClick system, with the "German Innovation Award SPECIAL 2024" in the category "Interior & Living". This is because the versatile jointed glider innovation integrates almost invisibly into contemporary furniture design – the joint is completely concealed inside the tube; the glider thus achieves a minimum installation height. In addition, the "SMART FLEX" is manufactured without any metal parts that are susceptible to corrosion, making it 100% suitable for outdoor use.

The problem: Conventional jointed glider spigots only fit on one internal pipe dimension. The newly developed jointed glider "Expander" from Wagner's QuickClick system, on the other hand, adapts flexibly to an internal pipe diameter of 12-14 mm and seamlessly bridges all intermediate dimensions. Another advantage of the glider innovation: Thanks to interchangeable glide attachments, the "Expander" can be used on a wide variety of floor surfaces.

The "PIEDI HD" (HD stands for "Heavy Duty") is an elegant and, thanks to an 11 mm pin firmly attached to the base, heavy-duty chair glider with added value: The "PIEDI HD" is compatible with the QuickClick "Duo", the first reversible gliding insert. The "Duo" offers double protection for robust, soft floors and for sensitive, hard floors – simply click out, turn and click back in!

The "German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalisation" (DIND) has awarded Wagner System GmbH in Lahr, Black Forest, the "Employer of the Future" seal. Under the patronage of Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, the DIND awards the prize to companies that set special standards in the areas of future viability and outstanding quality as an employer.

Four premium versions complement the series "Ringdesign" from Wagner's QuickClick system: With a high-gloss finish in the interior trend colours "Chrome", "Black-Chrome", "Rosé-Chrome" and "Gold-Chrome", the elegant new articulated gliders "Ringdesign Chrome" add glamorous accents to the lower end of contemporary tubular steel chairs; with tubes of the same colour, they integrate discreetly into high-quality furniture design, perfectly matched in colour.

Specially developed for rounded, sloping wooden furniture legs, the new premium glider QuickClick "Swing" from Wagner is a real problem solver for furniture manufacturers. With this flexible and technically convincing solution, trendy lounge chairs in Scandi design, for example, can be fitted in no time at all to protect the floor, and thanks to exchangeable gliding attachments, they can be maintained just as quickly.
