The grooved stem is made out of solid, galvanised industrial steel.

Technology + Design

The attachment solution is ingeniously straight-forward: The grooved stem from the patented Wagner norm system has a standard size of 8 mm at its lower end. This means it can fit into any furniture castor and glider from Wagner. The mount also has a standard size of 8 mm.

This is how it works: The upper part of the grooved stem makes the connection to the item of furniture. The lower part makes the normalised connection to the furniture castor or glider. Plug together - and you are done! Result: All grooved stems fit any furniture castor and glider!
